A driver accidentally drove into the Madison Diner just after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and dented the metal siding of the popular eatery on Madison Avenue.
The driver’s car and the diner received minor damage in the mishap, which happened after the driver’s foot slipped off the brake pedal, said Bainbridge Police Lt. Bob Day.
No one was hurt in the accident.
The vehicle, a four-door Mercedes Sable LS, had been parked in a space at the far end of the restaurant, and the car hit the front left corner of the building and left several large, knee-high dents.
