Enoch Elroy Stewart passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. He was born on Nov. 19, 1921 in Boise, Idaho and was 92 years of age.
Roy retired in 1976 from the Bremerton Naval Shipyard after 30 years of service. He was a World War II Army Veteran.
Roy loved to camp, travel, bowl, watch baseball and football, play his guitar and harmonica and be with his family and friends. He worked diligently and purposed to take care of his family.
He had a great sense of humor and was a man of integrity, compassion and selflessness. He was always willing to help another. Roy was loved and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his daughter Linda Mayberry and her spouse of Shoreline; granddaughter Melinda Mayberry of Shoreline; sister-in-law Margaret Moe and nieces Nancy Irven and her spouse and children of Bainbridge Island; and Lori Schmidt and her spouse and family of Sequim. He was preceded in death by his parents Enoch and Laura Stewart; his wife Harriet Stewart; and five brothers and four sisters.
