Eugene Baldwin Allen passed away peacefully at his home with his family on Wednesday, Aug.20, 2014 at the age of 72.

He was born on July 9, 1942 in Seattle. Eugene was a beloved father, grandfather and brother and friend to many. He spent most of his life on Bainbridge Island.

He is survived by his daughter Teresa Allen Thompson; grandchildren David M. Gunn and Kaiden Thompson; brother Daniel Allen; as well as two nephews Alex Allen and Sean Allen.

Eugene was preceded in death by his two daughters, Cindy Allen and Tammy Wulff, along with his mother Helen B, Allen and father Richard B Allen. Eugene will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Family and friends are respectively invited to attend the memorial service from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30 at The Sons of Norway in Poulsbo.
