Field’s End hosts lecture for writers

Field’s End will host best-selling author Ann Hood at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art auditorium at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 for the lecture “Revision for Writers.”

A Q&A with the author will follow the presentation.

Later that same day in the auditorium, Hood will lead a troupe of actors in reading excerpts from “Knitting Yarns: Writers on Knitting.”

The evening event is presented in partnership with Churchmouse Yarns & Teas and Eagle Harbor Book Company.

Hood is the author of the just-released novel “An Italian Wife,” and an avid knitter.
