Saint Cecilia Parish hosts “An Advent Evening: Those in Darkness Have Seen a Great Light” from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at the church.

What is that darkness, and what is that light? Christ’s coming is an invitation to heal the separateness and regain the person-to-person friendship meant for us in the here and now. Fr. Wm. J. O’Malley, an award-winning author, speaker and educator, will lead the evening.
