Fundraiser supports beloved BHS staffer

A special one-night-only “Laugh! For Life” comedy performance/concert fundraising event in support of Bainbridge High School’s Athletic Director Kaycee Taylor will take over the Bainbridge Performing Arts stage at 8 p.m. Friday, July 1.

A special one-night-only “Laugh! For Life” comedy performance/concert fundraising event in support of Bainbridge High School’s Athletic Director Kaycee Taylor will take over the Bainbridge Performing Arts stage at  8 p.m. Friday, July 1.

The festivities will include sizzling stand-up by Bridget Young: The Realtor Lady, and special musical guests Johnny Bregar, Mike Derzon and Zach Fleury.

Taylor, the boys varsity swim and dive coach and the 2015 Metro League Athletic Director of the Year, announced late last year that he would be stepping down as head coach for a bit due to a cancer diagnosis.

He has continued to perform his AD duties throughout his treatment, which he recently said is going well.
