The Bainbridge Island Review is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and we would like you to be a part of it.
If you have saved any old newspaper clippings for whatever reason we’d love a photo of it with a description of why you kept it.
If you ever worked for the newspaper or were ever featured in the newspaper, we would like you to share your thoughts on what that experience was like for our upcoming special section.
Please also share your thoughts if you’ve been an avid reader, especially for a long time, and would like to explain what the paper has meant to you and the community.
Or if you just want to share your thoughts about some special news events you remember reading about in the newspaper over the years — we would also like to hear from you.
We are going to share our history in many other ways, but hearing from the different voices in the community should help make the special section truly special.
Please email your writings, 300 words or less please so we can get as many as possible in, to steven.powell@soundpublishing.com by Jan. 1, 2024.
