Raymond Gendreau holds up the album “The Buddy Holly Story” at Backstreet Beat, his used records and book store in downtown Winslow.
The album is a hard-to-find original pressing from Coral Records that came out less than a month after Buddy Holly died in 1959.
(Liner note for photo: “Buddy” is Raymond Gendreau’s nickname, bestowed by son Henri, that came from the days they’d watch the television comedy “Seinfeld” together and hear Kramer’s catchphrase, “Hey, buddy.”)
