Robin Hilderman of Bainbridge Island has been awarded the Phillip J. McKenna Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists Award.

Hilderman received the award from Colorado College at its annual Honors Convocation, held virtually this year on May 14. The traditional ceremony celebrates outstanding students, faculty, and staff, and includes the bestowing of departmental awards, all-college awards, and awards from the CC Student Government Association.

Hilderman is a senior and geology major at Colorado College.

Approximately 260 awards were presented at this year’s event, which celebrates Colorado College’s146th academic year.

Colorado College is a nationally prominent, four-year liberal arts college that was founded in Colorado Springs in 1874.
