Travelers who cross the Hood Canal Bridge will want to take care this week as it will be undergoing some intermittent closures to make repairs from a collision that occurred last month.
Crews from the state Department of transportation will be making repairs to a concrete barrier on the southbound side of the bridge.
The repairs will occur July 12-15, with the workers maintaining two lane traffic with shifting lanes around the work zone. However there will be two occasions when the bridge will close for approximately 30 minutes each day to allow for those lane changes and for crews to get in and out of the area. The 30-minute delays will begin at 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
