Bainbridge Bakers, a once-bustling downtown Winslow coffee shop, is now up for lease.

Chairs and menu boards still fill the inside of the quiet, dark bakery.

A sign posted inside a window of the Winslow Way bakery from Elmquist Real Estate Services shows the closed business is now available for lease.

In late April, the bakery seemed to be closed temporarily due to “reorganization” after the owner claimed a “massive theft” had destroyed business operations.

Owner Mike Loudon stated on his Facebook page April 22 that he had been looking for a “more structured loan option” to keep the business running. He has not posted about the bakery since announcing the closure on April 26.
