Sara Vass of Bainbridge Island will be a cast member in “The Season Opening One-Acts” at Linfield College.

Linfield opened its 97th theatre season this week with the production of three one-act performances, which are being presented through Sept. 24 in the Marshall Theatre in Ford Hall on the university’s campus in McMinnville, Oregon.

The one-acts this year are “The Internet is Distract — Oh Look A Kitten!”, “Simulation” and “Act 3: Wildcats Connected,” all exploring the college’s 2016-17 theme: The Digital Self.

This year’s theme focuses on how the digital age affects human experience, as well as how engagement with technology impacts identities, physical bodies, self expression, interpersonal relationships and social interactions.

Vass is a sophomore at Linfield College and a computer science major.
