Islanders enroll at Tufts University

Two students from Bainbridge Island have joined more than 1,300 undergraduate students from around the world for their first year at Tufts University.

Two students from Bainbridge Island have joined more than 1,300 undergraduate students from around the world for their first year at Tufts University.

Jackson McCoy and Rachel Perry are now students at the college, located in Medford/Somerville, Massachusetts.

“This is a class with intelligence and personality, a group of students with a wide and sometimes unexpected set of perspectives and backgrounds,” said Lee Coffin, dean of undergraduate admissions, at the Class of 2019’s matriculation ceremony.
