Bainbridge Graduate Institute will host a fireside panel discussion on sustainability led by co-founder Gifford Pinchot at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 12 at IslandWood.

This month’s panel includes David Hoffman, CEO of Sitnasuak Native Corporation, a Native American owned for-profit corporation whose mission is to earn profits on operations “while protecting our land, culture and benefiting shareholders.”

Sitnasuak Native Corp. was most recently in the news when the delivery of 1.5 million gallons of oil to Nome, Alaska was threatened by an early freeze.

Also on the panel is Subodh Das, president of Secat, Inc. and a leader in aluminum recycling worldwide; and Hunter Lovins, President of Natural Capitalism Solutions, and founder of the field of Sustainable Management.
