Students in kindergarten through the sixth grade in the Bainbridge Island School District will attend school for only half of the day on Wednesday, Oct. 3 due to parent-teacher conferences.
There will be no school on Oct. 4 and 5 for all K-6 students, except for students at Captain Charles Wilkes Elementary. Students at Wilkes have a half-day early dismissal.
