Kenyon P. Kellogg III and Amanda Margaret Outerbridge were engaged over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Kenyon is the son of Ken and Scooty Kellogg of Bainbridge Island.

He is a 1995 graduate of Bainbridge High School, a 1999 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in mechanical engineering, and an MBA graduate of the University of Florida, in 2006.

He is a Lt. Commander (select) pilot flying E2s stationed in Virginia Beach, Va.

Amanda is the daughter of Miles and Pearl Outerbridge of Bermuda.

She is a 1996 graduate of Ethel Walker, a New England boarding school, and a 2000 graduate of Boston College with a degree in business administration.

She works a s a vice president with an international private equity firm in Boston.

The couple met in Hong Kong while serving on the last voyage of the Kitty Hawk in the spring of 2008.

A small family wedding is being planned for June 10, 2009 in Bermuda, after which the couple will make their home in the Boston, Mass., area.
