This week’s adoptable pets are Kittles and Bootsie.
For adoption through PAWS:
Kittles is an 18-month-old shorthaired white female with tabby splotches.
She came to PAWS when her owner moved.
Kittles is a friendly cat on her terms. She doesn’t like to be held but will come to you for petting.
Meet Kittles and several others at the PAWS Pleasant Beach adoption center, open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
For adoption through Kitsap Humane Society:
Meet Bootsie! She is a hard-not-to-love Pit Bull/American Bulldog mix, who’s about 3 years old.
This chunky monkey loves being outdoors, simply hanging out in the yard, or going on adventurous hikes. Bootsie would love to go to an active home. This gal loves toys that she can toss, throw and chase after all day. While Bootsie is crate trained, she’s still working on house training. An adopter who is going to give Bootsie loving guidance while she finishes her potty training would make her so happy.
While Bootsie loves her people, she can be stressed by new people and lots of strangers. She would do best in a quiet home without a lot of visitors. Bootsie needs to go to a home (no apartments please) without kids under 16, and most importantly with people who will give her unlimited snuggles! You can meet Bootsie and other adoptable animals at Kitsap Humane Society, open six days a week; www.kitsap-humane.org.
