Karen Klein will kick off her campaign for Kitsap County Superior Court judge next week in an event at the Treehouse Cafe.

Klein is an attorney who lives on Bainbridge Island and CEO of Silver Planet. She is running for Position 7, the position now held by retiring Superior Court Judge M. Karlynn Haberly. Klein announced her candidacy last month.

The campaign kickoff is 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at the Treehouse Cafe.

The cafe is located at 4569 Pleasant Beach Drive NE.
