Lynn Ashley Long passed away on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at his home on Bainbridge Island.

He was born on July 15, 1940 in Geneva, New York and was 74 years of age. He had an engineering degree from Alfred University, Alfred, New York and worked as an engineer and salesman over the years, for General Electric, Allis-Chalmers and the Toro Company.

He was a member of the senior center softball team and president of the North Town Woods Board for eight years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball and softball.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Lynn is survived by his wife Rosemary Long of Bainbridge Island; daughter Jennifer Strehler and grandchildren Brooke and Jonathan Strehler, all of Mercer Island; and his brother Larry Long of Kansas City, Kansas.

Memorial contributions can be made to the senior center softball team on Bainbridge Island.
