Manager moved to director’s job in Bainbridge planning department

Heather Wright has been named interim director of the city of Bainbridge Island’s Planning and Community Development Department.

Wright, formerly the planning manager as well as a senior planner for the city, is leading the department following the retirement of former director Gary Christensen. Christensen resigned May 24.

David Greetham is serving as the interim planning manager.
