Possibly the best kept secret in American music, renowned West Coast performers Marley’s Ghost will be on Bainbridge to perform a special one-night-only concert event at Lynwood’s Treehouse Café 8 p.m. Thursday, April 30, in celebration of their upcoming new album, “The Woodstock Sessions.”

Marley’s Ghost recently celebrated their 25th anniversary and was called “nothing less than a national treasure” by the Los Angeles Times.

The recording project was helmed by Grammy-winning producer Larry Campbell. Known for his artful work with Bob Dylan and Levon Helm, among many others, Campbell guided the Ghost’s dig into their garden of deep roots to uncover a host of hidden gems.

Featuring their trademark multi-part harmonies and multi-instrumental skills, the band’s eleventh album promises to be a resonant road trip through America’s past set firmly in the present.

Tickets are on sale and seating is limited. Table seats are $28 each.

This event is for those 21-and-over only.

“The real draw is the band itself, showcasing the kind of ensemble performances that come only from a lifetime of playing together, thriving across the decades as virtuosic, unsung heroes of country, folk, and Western swing,” wrote Acoustic Guitar magazine of Marley’s Ghost.

The band’s previous album, produced by the late and legendary Nashville maestro Cowboy Jack Clement, featured guest performances from legendary artists Emmylou Harris, John Prine, Old Crow Medicine Show, Marty Stuart and Larry Campbell.
