The Bainbridge Island Garden Club will hold its next monthly meeting on Monday, March 14 at the First Baptist Church, located at Highway 305 and Madison Avenue.

The meeting program, which starts at 11:30 a.m., will be a presentation about “Micro Farming – Growing More in Small Spaces” by Darren Murphy.

Murphy is a longtime resident of Bainbridge Island and is active in the Peninsula Fruit club, Bainbridge Island Farmers Market and BI 4-H. He will talk about the growing micro-farming community on Bainbridge Island and how you can grow your own fruits and vegetables.
