Members of the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation, city officials and others will gather Saturday to dedicate the new Winslow Grove Trail between Finch/Sportsman and Weaver roads.
The dedication ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13 and will take place on the bridge at the trail’s midway point.
The trail, about a quarter of a mile long, begins near the intersection of Finch Sportsman Club roads and extends east to Weaver Road near Rotary Park. It was built and paid for by Millennial Builders, and is the longest trail constructed by a developer to date in Winslow, according to the city.
