Steven Gardiner and Ruby Snyder were married on Oct. 26, 2014 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

The groom is the son of Joan and Tom Gardiner of Bainbridge Island.

He is a graduate of Bainbridge High School, and the University of California, San Diego. He received his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law.

The bride is the daughter of Sherry Leichman and Keith Snyder of Brookeville, Maryland.

She received her undergraduate degree at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and her Master of Counseling degree at Johns Hopkins University.

The groom is an attorney at the U.S. Department of Labor and the bride is a high school counselor and teacher in Rockville, Maryland.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Mexico and live in the Washington, D.C. area.
