The Parkland Acquisition Committee has released a form the public can use to nominate property as potential parkland.

Nominations will be accepted through June 30. The PAC will hold a public meeting May 19 to discuss its process and take input from the public.

The Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park and Recreation District has tasked the PAC with identifying properties to purchase using money from its levy lid-lift.

The PAC will take nominations, then investigate properties and make recommendations to the park board for potential purchases.
