Businesses and homes east of Madison Avenue near High School Road were going without power after an outage Tuesday morning.
The blackout stretched from Highway 305 west to Madison, and also affected businesses in the Island Village Shopping Center.
Ordway Elementary and the offices for the Bainbridge Island School District were also without power.
Drivers on Highway 305 were facing slight delays at the Highway 305-Madison intersection, as the traffic signal was out.
