Kinwell, a new approach to primary care headquartered in Seattle, opened its latest location in Poulsbo July 14.
The clinic at 21800 Market Place, contains seven suites designed for patient comfort, blending the best in technology with details to create a welcoming guest experience, its news release states.
The clinic is the latest in an ongoing effort to serve communities throughout Washington that need more primary care options. Additional clinics will open in Western Washington throughout this summer and fall.
“At Kinwell, our mission is to address the gap in access to timely primary care,” said Dr. Mia Wise, chief medical officer at Kinwell. “Through community-based teams of local physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, we build trusted, long-term partnerships with our patients, so they feel comfortable returning to our clinics to optimize their health over time.”
Kinwell clinics provide primary care and behavioral health services, in-person and telehealth visits, online appointment scheduling and reduced wait times. Expanded primary care services treat everyday ailments like a sprained wrist or upset stomach, as well as manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and depression. Kinwell patients have free access to the MyChart app, through which they can make appointments, manage billing and contact their healthcare team.
To book an appointment at the Poulsbo clinic, patients can log into their MyChart account via the app or call 833-411-KINW.
Launched in 2021, Kinwell Medical Group is a primary care option exclusively for those insured by Premera Blue Cross, Premera Blue Cross Medicare plans, or LifeWise Health Plan of Washington, and for BlueCard holders. Kinwell emphasizes more attention, less complexity and a better relationship between patients and their healthcare teams, the news release says. Kinwell embraces a whole-health approach that includes diet, fitness and behavioral health.
