PSE: Windstorm knocked out power to more than 105,000 customers

Electricity should be restored by 6 p.m. Sunday for any PSE customers in Kitsap County who are still without electricity.

Officials with Puget Sound Energy said more than 105,000 customers lost power because of Saturday’s windstorm.

PSE officials said Kitsap County, north King County and Whidbey Island were the hardest hit locations by the windstorm.

PSE said Sunday that roughly 7,900 customers in 405 locations still remain without power in areas scattered across Kitsap and King counties.

PSE said it expects to finish restoring power on Sunday.

At 9 a.m. Sunday, roughly 1,400 customers in Kitsap County were still without power, and PSE reported nearly 90 outages in the county.
