Roads closed at SR-305 intersection

North Madison Avenue will be closed Monday night from 8 p.m. to approximately 5 a.m. Tuesday between State Route 305 to about 300 feet past Manitou Beach Drive, according to the city’s Public Works Department.

The closure is due to asphalt repair work near the SR-305 and Moran Drive intersections.

North Madison Avenue will be closed from SR-305 to about 300 feet north of Manitou Beach Drive and restricted to local access south of Valley Road. Manitou Beach Drive will be closed from North Madison to Edgecombe Place. Moran will be closed approximately 300 feet south of North Madison and restricted to local access north of Lofgren Road.

The city suggests the use of Lovgren Road or other alternative routes for people traveling north (North Madison Avenue) or east (Manitou Beach Drive) from the intersection of SR-305 and North Madison.

People traveling to points south on Moran Road from the intersection are advised to take Madison Avenue to Yaquina Avenue or other alternative routes.
