Rotary Auction and Rummage Sale

The Bainbridge Rotary Auction and rummage sale is fast approaching.

Imagine a 6-acre garage sale. Hundreds of bikes, clothes, rooms full of tested and sorted household items, antique furniture and more will all be up for grabs at the 57th annual auction and rummage organized by the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island, on Saturday, July 1.

Organizers say this is a prime time to clean out your closets; donations for the auction will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 23 through June 28. Volunteers will be on hand at Woodward Middle School to assist with unloading donations and will provide tax receipts to donors.

Proceeds will go toward building island infrastructure such as parks and sports fields, as well as other projects like funding grants for other nonprofit organizations, college scholarships and more.

An auction preview will also be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 30 so bargain hunters will be able to get a sneak peek on what will be up for sale this year. Go to BainbridgeRotaryAuction.org for more information.
