The Bainbridge High School Band won the first-place “AA Division” trophy at the annual Puget Sound Festival of Bands, winning awards for Best General Effect, Best Visuals, Best Percussion, and Best Color Guard.

The festival was held Oct. 27 at Everett Memorial Stadium. In an exciting finals competition, the Spartan band finished sixth place overall.

School officials said both wins were run-away school records and in the finals, the BHS band was scored fourth overall in Individual Music, a testament to this community’s support of music education.
