Grace Hall won second place in the triple jump with a distance of 32-03.50 in last weekend’s Lil’ Norway Invitational in Poulsbo.
Other members of the Spartan track team also had top-10 finishes.
The invite included athletes from Central Kitsap, North Kitsap, Bremerton, Kamiak, North Mason, Sequim, Olympic, South Whidbey, Klahowya, Port Townsend, Tacoma Baptist, Shorewood Christian, Vashon Island and Clallam Bay.
The standouts from the BHS boys included David Kimmerlein and Wyatt Longley, who placed sixth and seventh, respectively, in the 400-meter race with times of 54.14 and 55.01.
Casey Brink took fourth place in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 45.29.
For the girls, Makaila Deen was sixth in the 200 meters; she finished in 29.42.
The Spartan girls also had a good showing in the field events.Hall placed fifth in the shot put with a toss of 28-05.00.
Deen was eighth in the javelin with a throw of 76-08.
