A little rain started to fall as students from St. Cecilia Catholic School hit the track at Bainbridge High’s Memorial Stadium for the school’s third annual jog-a-thon.
All funds for the event were generated by students, through donations from family, friends and St. Cecilia parishioners.
School officials said the kids really went the distance. The school total for was 1,161 laps, which equals 290.25 miles.
