Kitsap County will resume normal operations at the County Administration Building in Port Orchard March 20.

The facility closed and staff was evacuated March 19 after a substance was found in the elections mail received by the Auditor’s Office. Investigators did not locate any harmful substances.

The US Postal Inspection Service is continuing its investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Port Orchard police via 911 or email at police@portorchardwa.gov
