Kate Fewel will be the guest speaker at the next meeting of the Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group.

Fewel will talk about the transitioning of the Independent Living Program from Carl Jarvis to Sight Connection. She’ll also review Sight Connection’s other important departments, including the store, the Low Vision Clinic, social services, rehabilitation teaching and mobility training.

Bainbridge VIPs meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 at the Bainbridge Public Library.
