Memorial Day weekend, and it’s time to barbecue!

The Q crew for Safeway takes time out from grilling pork ribs, corn on the cob and hot dogs Sunday in front of the grocery on High School Road.

The parking lot barbecue is a summertime tradition, something the store does every Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day holidays.

This year’s Memorial Day weekend cookout started Friday and continues through Monday.
