A two-car crash on Highway 305 just north of Day Road was slowing traffic across Bainbridge Island’s main thoroughfare just after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
No one appeared injured in the fender bender, which occurred after one driver rear-ended another vehicle. The crash left debris scattered across the southern lane of the highway.
The two vehicles were pulled over to the shoulder of the roadway, but southbound drivers were slowing traffic in both directions by going into the northbound lane to give the crash scene a wide berth.
