Highway 305 north of the Agate Passage Bridge is again open, following a brief closure in the wake of a traffic accident, according to a notice sent out by the city of Bainbridge Island at about 12:15 p.m. Monday.

The original closure message, sent out at about 11:40 a.m. said the road was expected to be closed for several hours.

More information about the nature of the traffic accident was not immediately available.
