Travelers in vehicles departing Seattle for Bainbridge Island on the Bainbridge ferry are facing a one-hour wait for a boat Tuesday afternoon.
Washington State Ferries said the delay is due to heavy traffic boarding the vessels at the Seattle terminal.
WSF issued a travel advisory for the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10.
Vehicle space on the ferry M/V Tacoma, departing the dock at 5:45 p.m., is limited, according to WSF.
The next scheduled sailings from Seattle are 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
