Washington State Ferries is advising drivers departing the Bainbridge terminal for Seattle to expect a one-hour wait for a ferry.
The advisory was issued just issued just after 3 p.m. Sunday, June 23.
WSF announced just after 4 p.m. that the ferry M/V Tacoma was 20 minutes behind schedule on its sailings on the Bainbridge-Seattle route.
The line of vehicles waiting for the ferry to Seattle stretched from the ferry terminal all the way to High School Road, and then around the corner to the Ace Hardware, just before 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Sunday’s troubles with the Bainbridge-Seattle route followed a week of delayed and late sailings on the ferry run.
