Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route that drivers face an estimated 1-hour wait for a boat off of Bainbridge.

The advisory was issued just before 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Ferry service from Kitsap has been problematic all morning. The Kingston-Edmonds route was limited to one-boat service early Aug. 3 after an electrical problem arose on one of the route’s ferries. Needed repairs prompted an estimated 2- to 3-hour wait for drivers.

Two-ferry service on the Kingston route resumed at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday.
