Main thoroughfares in Winslow will be shut down for Bainbridge Island’s annual Fourth of July festivities, starting Tuesday, July 3.
Winslow Way between Madison Avenue and Town & Country Market was closed to traffic at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, and stay closed until 6 p.m. July 4.
A longer stretch of Winslow Way will be closed for the Grand Ol’ Fourth of July Parade, with the expanded closure starting at 5 p.m. July 3.
The closure also includes Madison Avenue in the downtown area, and other adjacent streets:
High School Road, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4;
Wyatt at Madison, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4;
Madison at Winslow, 5 p.m. July 3 to 6 p.m. July 4;
Madison at Brien, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 4;
Ericksen at Winslow, 5 p.m. July 3 to 6 p.m. July 4;
Ericksen at Wyatt, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4;
Wallace at Hildebrand, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4;
Knechtel at Madison, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4;
Wallace at Madison, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4;
Ihland at Madison, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4;
Knechtel at Ericksen, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4; and
Ihland at Wallace, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 4.
