Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route that a medical emergency on board the M/V Wenatchee has prompted the cancellation of two sailings Wednesday, May 29.

Emergency crews were called to the Bainbridge terminal after a crew member reportedly suffered a heart attack on the Wenatchee.

The 11:30 a.m. sailing from Bainbridge and the 12:25 p.m. sailing from Seattle have been cancelled.
