Upcoming program looks at Bainbridge economy

What’s in store for Bainbridge Island this year? The Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce is hosting a special luncheon to find out.

The chamber presents the talk, “Bainbridge Island 2020 Economic Vitality Report,” at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Wing Point Golf & Country Club.

The keynote speaker is Spencer Cohen, senior policy advisor for Washington Economic Development Center, who will speak about the prospective economic vitality of the Puget Sound region.

Elizabeth Court, director of the Olympic Workforce Development Council, will also present the current demographics of Kitsap County.

Chris Miller of Coldwell Banker BAIN will describe the state of residential real estate on the island and Lisa Donlon, Windermere Commercial, will do the same for the commercial market.

Tickets — which include a lunch with sandwich, dessert and beverage — are $30 for the general public and $25 for Bainbridge chamber members. Register at http://tiny.cc/2020-Economic-Vitality.

The event is sponsored by First Federal. For more information, visit BainbridgeChamber.com or call 206-842-3700.
