Puget Sound Energy has restored power to most of the homes on Bainbridge Island that lost power late Wednesday afternoon.
PSE reported less than a dozen homes still without electricity on the South End at 9 p.m. July 11, with power expected to be restored to those remaining customers by midnight.
Electricity was knocked out to nearly 4,000 homes and businesses across Bainbridge earlier Wednesday, with the outage extending from South Beach, through Winslow, to neighborhoods around the Grand Forest.
