With all counties in Washington state now reporting initial vote tallies, Sheryl McCloud of Bainbridge Island remains in the lead for the Justice Position 9 on the Washington State Supreme Court.

With all counties in Washington state now reporting initial vote tallies, Sheryl McCloud of Bainbridge Island remains in the lead for the Justice Position 9 on the Washington State Supreme Court.

McCloud has 31 percent of the vote, or a total of 207,867 votes out of 657,551 counted.

Richard B. Sanders remained in second place in the four-way race, with 27.4 percent (180,709 votes).

Bruce Hilyer is third, with 25.6 percent (168,343 votes).

John W. Ladenburg is fourth, with 15.3 percent (100,632).

McCloud was in front in 26 counties across Washington.

Sanders had the lead in 10 counties, while Hilyer led in one county, King, and Landenburg was in front in one county, Pierce.

McCloud was enjoying her biggest support on Election Night in Jefferson County, where she pulled in 42.9 percent of the vote.

The advantage for the leader in the race dipped slightly as votes from King County and other counties were added to the total. McCloud previously led with 33 percent of the vote.
