Puget Sound Energy reported that the number of customers without power has increased to nearly 13,000 in the region.
More neighborhoods on Bainbridge Island have also lost electricity.
As of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, 11 neighborhoods were without power.
Outages were reported mostly on the north end of the island, near Agate Passage.
Several mid-island homes, and in Lynwood Center, were also hit by outages.
According to the National Weather Service’s office in Seattle, forecasters expect Bainbridge to see continued north/northwest winds around 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.
