Virginia Mason Winslow Clinic receives doses of H1N1 vaccine

The Virginia Mason Winslow Clinic will have 200 injectable doses of H1N1 vaccine starting Thursday morning. Walk-in hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The doses are reserved for priority groups, which include:

– Health care and emergency medical services workers

– Pregnant women

– Parents and caretakers of infants under six months of age

– Children and adults from six months of age through 24 years of age

– Persons with serious chronic medical conditions (especially lung

disease) through age 64.

“The vaccine will go quickly,” said Virginia Mason spokeswoman Alisha Mark.

Mark said the clinic has been getting a regular weekly shipment for the last few weeks.
