A restoration work party will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 at Rustica Island Farm.
This event is part of an ongoing, long-term restoration project on the Bainbridge Island Land Trust’s very first private conservation easement. In a joint project with the landowner, volunteers will continue to work on restoring native plant species by removing invasive species such as Scotch broom. This is an exciting opportunity to experience the pastoral scenery of Rustica Island Farm, while doing good.
Bring your own gloves and dress for the weather. Refreshments and tools will be provided.
RSVP to Becca Nissley at becca@bi-landtrust.org or 206-842-1216 by Nov. 7. (Driving and parking directions will be provided upon RSVP’ing).
