The final design for Waterfront Park will be presented tonight at an open house at city hall.

The park is getting a major makeover and the latest plans will be presented at the meeting, which will run from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 6 in council chambers. Residents are invited to stop by to see the final design project drawings that have been completed by consultant Walker Macy.

The final design for Waterfront Park will be presented for city council approval Tuesday, May 26.

After receiving approval, the city will begin the permit application and bidding process with plans on beginning construction on the park project this fall.
